The property has very easy access, in a quiet setting between Frigiliana (5 mins drive) and the coast at Nerja (8 mins drive). The motorway connection is but 5 mins away.

The layout of the house is unusual in that the main part has only one bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, and the living areas are open in design, interconnecting at various levels. A few steps lead up to the main livingroom, which is spectacular, having an exceptionally high ceiling and stairs leading to the tower above, from which there are panoramic views to the mountains, to Frigiliana and down to the sea. The livingroom windows are enormous and allow one to appreciate the backdrop of the dramatic mountains rising from the river bed below. With little light pollution, the night sky, stars & moon above the wild sierras is stunning.

The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with granite worktops, stylish pebbled walls, fridge / freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine is housed separately.

From the kitchen, French windows open to a large dining terrace. There is a comfy, shaded corner with seating, a large terrace table and chairs and a built-in BBQ with chimney.

Below the main house, at the level of the garden, is a further livingroom, with cosy sofas, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo etc.. The lower livingroom is self contained, with kitchenette (fridge, coffeemaker) and a large shower bathroom with separate WC.

The guest house, located only a few metres from the front door of the main house, has its own separate entrance and comprises a double bedroom, with satellite TV / radio etc., a twin bedroom and a shower bathroom / WC with laundry area. There is plenty of wardrobe space. It is light, airy and comfortable, freshly decorated in a modern simple style.

Outside there are extensive terraces, leading down to the pool and everywhere, those amazing views! There are 2 x 3m sunshades, wooden sunbeds with cushions, reclining chairs as well as beach / bathing towels are provided in ample quantity for guests.

The house is equipped as a home with dining, seating and catering capacity, both indoors and outdoors, for up to 8 persons. The layout of the accommodation lends itself to two persons in the double bedroom in the main house, with space enough for a baby or a small child in the same room, and then four persons in the guest house (1 double, 1 twin and a shower bathroom) which adjoins the main house. For more than six persons, the lower, self-contained livingroom contains a sofa bed for a further two persons.

Highly efficient log-burning stoves are provided in both sitting rooms. Additionally the property is equipped with air conditioning cooling / heating and solar powered underfloor heating throughout. No internet access or telephone is provided for guests.
